Wood materials are elastic and bended by outside power but they are broken by power exceeding elastic modulus. Materials with elasticity and durability, such as metals, plastic and wood are used for many fields. This study was aimed at expressing a form of elasticity and flexibility in wooden chair. What is necessary in the first place was structure of a chair. Fixed gaps were made at interlinear spaces of the laminated bending structure to improve durability and to visualize the shape bended according to weight. This structure expresses ‘bending’ and ‘lightness’ to make it look smart and dynamic.
